The basic idea
Teen Patti uses three-card hands. Traditional play uses a standard 52-card deck. Players compare the strength of their hands according to the version being played.
Hand categories
A common order, strongest first, is trail, pure sequence, sequence, colour, pair and high card. A trail contains three equal ranks; a pair contains two. Check the table’s rules for ace sequences, ties and any wild cards.
Blind and seen
Blind means a player has not viewed their cards; seen means they have. The rules governing turns and comparisons depend on the format.
Learn with practice
Begin by identifying hand categories using sample cards. Practise comparing two hands before joining a timed session. This website explains the game and does not provide payments or operate a table.
Check the variant
Confirm whether you are learning the traditional game or a modified app mode. Read the publisher’s instructions for features and requirements. A familiar name does not mean that every version follows identical rules.
